Hilchos Purim to Start the Purim Seuda - Amalek Has Only Begun To Fall

Okay, welcome everybody. We're starting the Purim Seudah. So, let's uh we'll start by being mekayem the Rama in Siman Taf Reish Samech Yud Hey. Taf Reish Samech Yud Hey, by the way, the way to remember where Hilchos Seudas Purim is is in in Teratzah. It's Hashem's Ratzon for Klal Yisrael for the cheit of being nanaf in the Seudas Achashveirosh. The Rama says, "Tov la'asok me'at ba'Torah kodem she'ya'aseh Seudah." It's good to be oisek a little bit in Torah before the Seudah begins. And the simcha is "V'yihu dam choyse'a oirah v'simcha." First Torah, first Torah, and then Seudas Purim. That's what the Rama says. The Rama doesn't legislate what to learn. He just says it's good to start the Seudah with divrei Torah. We pointed out from the Ben Ish Hai Yada that the merit the Jewish people had in the times of Purim, that Hashem saved us, is because on the seventh day of the Seudas Achashveirosh it was Shabbos, and Klal Yisrael were speaking divrei Torah at the table, and in that merit Hashem protected us. So, to remember that, we also start the Purim Seudah with divrei Torah. However, in Siman Taf Chaf Tes, the Mechaber says that we're chayav Hilchos Pesach before Pesach 30 days. We start learning Hilchos Pesach 30 days before Pesach. Says the Mishnah Berurah, "So, okay, so when do you start? Do you start tomorrow on Tes Vav?" The Mishnah Berurah says, "You start on Purim itself." And many years we pointed out
