[Music] there are two big mistakes that most of us make when it comes to things that happen to us the first thing that we do is we tend to categorize everything that happens to us and we put us in three different categories one when things are good things that are B and somewhere in good things that are B and somewhere in the middle the second thing that we do is we are stupid enough to say we know what God's part in why this happened when things are very good to us we say hey God thank you very much you're obviously so merciful so good so loving thank you thank you thank you and when things are very bad we look at it and we say must be God is showing his say must be God is showing his strictness his judgment and he is punishing Us in some way in these four Torah readings in the beginning of shos God reveals us the truth of why things happen to us how to look at them and what his role is after mosha comes back from doing what Hashem told him to do go to pyro and tell pyro to let the Jewish people go Moshe goes to let the Jewish people go Moshe goes to Hashem and Moshe says Hey Hashem you made it a lot worse instead of P letting the people go he made it tremendously worse for us how could you do such a bad thing hashem's answer is tremendously powerful and revealing before I tell you what EX exactly hasem answer was I have to briefly explain to you the two different ways we refer to
