In their own words

“And these 21 days are designated as the yearly mourning period for the Hurban Beit Hamikdash and the Hurban of Yerushalayim and the death of the tzaddikim. Although the Halacha says we're supposed to remember this every day, but we concentrate it more pronounced during the 21 days.”
“It should be pointed out also that there was some people that felt rebuking is against is against what Hashem really wants. What was their logic? Their logic was like this. We read in many books that you're always supposed to look for the good in people.”
“The tzaddikim don't die. The tzaddik remains. We still study the Torah of Moshe. That means his legacy still lives. That's hinted to in the amount of pesukim in the parashah. But today I came to tell you something else. This was just an introduction.”
