So, in our Mishna the very end of the Mishna we had machlokes Rebbe Meir and Chachamim. Rebbe Meir holds zeh posel dayano shel zeh v'zeh posel dayano shel zeh. Also, in the seifa of the Mishna we had zeh posel edav shel zeh v'zeh posel edav shel zeh. They could disqualify each other's witnesses. Divrei Rebbe Meir and Chachamim say no, not so not so fast, not so easy. Eimasai b'zman shemevi aleihem raya, only when he's bringing proof to disqualify the edim, that's when he could be posel. But not without it. B'zman shemevi aleihem raya she'ein kerovino p'sulin, aval im hayu k'sheirim eino yachol l'foslan. If they are established individuals that are kasher and he can't prove that they are family members, too close to comfort of uh p'sulei kurva or that they have done an act that would put them over the boundaries of being a rasha, they've become p'sulei aveira, then without the proof, you can't really disqualify them. So says the Gemara uh three different understandings of this machlokes that we saw in the previous year.
