Recording in progress. Okay, good afternoon, dear friends. Parshas Tazria. Welcome back to the Newsman. We're now in the May sphere. If you want to prepare yourselves for upcoming days, get a hold of Ramir Balhanes. You could get it in Yiddish now. You could get it in Spanish. You could get it in English. You could get the safer in Lashon Kodesh of the Kodamar Nini. Next week is coming out in pocket edition. And prepare for Lag B'Omer, the fire and the soul, published by Artscroll. Okay, I want to share with you three amazing divrei Torah from the safer Pninei Kedem of Rabbi Chaim Michel Stern. The parsha begins at Isha Kisa Zria V'Yalda Zachar V'Tameh Shiv'as Yamim. A woman who conceives, gives birth to a male, she's tameh Shiv'as Yamim. Frek Tosfos increases daf yud. I need the possuk to tell me she's tameh for seven days. Isn't there a rule ein psicha k'ver b'lo dam? The womb won't open unless blood comes out. So why do I need exeras hakasuv of tumas yoledes? Why do I need a special possuk she's tameh because she gave birth? She's tameh anyway cuz she's a nida. So why is it necessary for the Torah to create tumas yoledes of Shiv'as Yamim? Anyway, she's tameh for seven days. Because of a nida. She's a nida. Ein psicha k'ver b'lo dam. Reb Betzalel Hakohen of Vilna in the safer Binyan answers as follows. Tumas leida was only needed for the dar hamidbar. The Gemara says that in the midbar, women did not see dam nida. And when she gave birth, there was no dam. So therefore the Torah needed for that generation specifically to create tumas yoledes.
