Hi, this is Evan Allosky with the Parsha in 5, where in 5 minutes we try to give you an insight into the Parsha. Uh the Vilna Gaon uh famously said that there are 10 parshios in Devarim and each one of them corresponds to a century. And Devarim will take you from the year 5001 to 5100. And that's Chanan 5101 to 5200, etc. And that's Nitzavim Vayeilech are together, obviously. So it turns out that the 1700s when the Vilna Gaon was alive, corresponded to parshios Ki Seitzei. So somebody asked him once everything that's important in this century should be inside of that parsha. So where are you? Where is the Vilna Gaon here? He says that's easy. There's the words Even Shleima. A complete rock, meaning they use the rock as a weight. So my name is Eliyahu ben Even Shleima is Aleph ben And that's the reason that he called his safer on musar Even Shleima. Based on that reason. But it certainly would mean that it's that that's where we find the Vilna Gaon in the parsha, we should take a look at that little parsha. Uh in perek chof hey, pasuk yud gimmel, lo yiheye lecha bechischa even vaeven gedolah uktanah. Don't have two different measures, right? Each one says 1 lb, but one is actually a pound and one is less. The same thing with a dry measure. A honest weight you should have. And a honest dry measure so that you should live long on the land that God gives you.
