Solomon teaches that if a person builds a healthy relationship they establish the foundation to grow Thrive and succeed however if one succumbs to desires and makes poor choices they can ruin their life let's examine the following verse which appears to contradict another one of Solomon's sayings in Proverbs 22 Solomon writes he who finds a wife finds a good thing but here he says I find more bitter than death the woman who is a snare whose death the woman who is a snare whose heart is a trap and whose hands are chains the man who pleases God will escape her but the sinner will be ens snared this raises the question how can Solomon speak so highly of marriage in one place yet so harshly about women in another the answer is straightforward not every woman is the same Solomon refers here to a specific type of woman one who becomes a snare to others who deliberately causes harm
