I've met many people over the years with bad yeshiva experiences. Some moved, some moved on and some continued to struggle. I wasn't so lucky. My parents forbade me to go to yeshiva and I was jealous of people I met who did. When I was 7 years old, I knew I wanted to be a religious Jew. Although I had no idea what that actually meant. I was fully show Chavez and kosher by age 15. It takes a personality for that. I entered yeshiva college JSS program at the age of 17. They took me on tour of the campus. They saw a bismeish for the first time. Hundreds of people in a gigantic room all very animated in groups of two or three. All I could hear was a very loud hum. It sounded like everyone was meditating together. I walked around a bit and it became clear that they were passionately trying to understand what Hashem wants from us and what our ancestors really already figured out. I wanted to be part of that magic. Unfortunately, although I had a great experience that year, I was on too low level to learn Gamarra. In 2021, I retired from computer program and was looking to find the kuta, but it wasn't working out. My bookshelves were bending from our school gumaras that I wasn't
