And uh it's a special It's before Shabbos Hagadol and we learned the parsha of Tzav, which I was discussing earlier, is a parsha that in the over 40 years that I'm giving these shiurim, So, the great Rama, who is the posek for Ashkenazic Jewry, Rabbi Wein talks about the praise where it's it's painful to say, Zecher tzaddik livracha, zichrono livracha, Rabbi Wein talks about the praise of the Rama, that instead of writing a separate Shulchan Aruch, he could have done that. He could have wrote a separate Rabbi Yosef Caro Shulchan Aruch wrote for the Sephardim. You see, You see, Rabbi Yosef Caro based his Shulchan Aruch on three Rishonim. The Rosh, the Rif, and the Rama. Since the Rif and the Rambam were Sephardim and the Rosh was Ashkenazic, and he went according to the majority, so Rabbi Yosef Caro's Shulchan Aruch is halacha of the Sephard. The Rama, in smaller letters, italicized smaller letters, wrote the halacha of the letters, wrote the halacha of the Ashkenaz. Now, the Rama could have done it a different way. He could have put out Shulchan Aruch ha'Rama. Another separate volume for Ashkenazim. It would have been would have been much more impressive. Everybody would say the Rama's Shulchan Aruch. But the Rama didn't want it to look like two Torahs. So, therefore, with great humility, he wrote in small letters in Rabbi Yosef Caro's Shulchan Aruch.
