The rat race is killing America. Of that there's no doubt. Absolutely no doubt. And I live [music] in the opposite of a rat race. Jealousy is a terrible thing. Eats away the soul. I know somebody who took their own life. Someone I was associated with loosely, but certainly through his business partner took his own life cuz he could not live up to certain elements of the rat race. Really? You have to go somewhere because someone else went there for vacation? Wh why can't you turn around to somebody why can't you turn around to somebody and say, "We're just not going to do that." Should we be able to turn around and say to [music] kids, "I just can't afford that right now." Right? Somebody said to me recently, "I pay full tuition. I'm driving an older car." I love that guy. There's priorities for you. Rabbi Noi Roberts has spent nearly 30 years teaching, counseling, and working with people from all walks of life. And somewhere along the way, he started noticing a pattern. The people everyone thinks are happy often aren't. The things we're convinced will make life better often don't. And a lot of the pressure we live with comes from chasing things that were never going to chasing things that were never going to satisfy us in the first place. This is a fascinating conversation.
