The Mishnah did not bring on page 38, page 2 the Shabbat eve. The Sages told them that this is prohibited, and therefore if it is on Shabbat, their ruling is as if water that was heated on Shabbat is prohibited for bathing and drinking. If on a holiday, as if water that was heated on Shabbat is prohibited for bathing and permitted for drinking. The Gemara and page 38, page 2 are consistent with the words of the Mishnah, from what it says: If on Shabbat, as if water that was heated on Shabbat, what did you hear? The whole problem
