okay good morning everybody happy friday those that are here live for those that are here any day of the week thanks so much for being here we are for those that are here with me close to when we're doing this we are mid-january i think we're end of january already it's amazing how things are going i love this time i'll tell you why i love end of january first of all i grew up in my calendar and i'm at your calendar where my school calendar gave us vacation end of january not end of december so i still have that neuroplasticity of like end of the end of january you're off and if you guys have the same thing but i find that these months are the turn this is like the turn like you're coming out of winter in the jewish calendar this is the month of shavat and there's a holiday coming up that most i would say diaspora jews don't follow called tu b'shvat for the israelis that are listening you guys know everything about this it's the holiday of the trees um it's when they celebrate the rebirth of the trees now you can imagine it goes a lot deeper than that it is a holiday that takes place it's going to be with god's help on next thursday and it celebrates the sap that comes you know i don't i guess for those who are more familiar with this stuff you'll know but like apparently the sap starts coming through the tree again and it begins the whole rebirth
