so Jewish history is very old Jewish history begins with Abraham almost 4,000 years ago um Abraham was born in 1948 or 1813 BCE so almost 4,000 years ago Moses lived 3,300 years ago and we Jews have the strongest recorded history and the longest history by far of Any Nation on Earth we know who lived in each Earth we know who lived in each generation who our leaders were we could name a major event in just about every single decade in the last 3,000 years we actually have books of chronology that go through year by year what happened each year and we can cover 3,000 years just about every year or definitely every decade what happened um consistently major events in Jewish history sometimes people question Jewish history wonder if are we the real Jews are we the Ancients you may have heard anti-semites claim um things like that anti-semites claim um things like that um what they don't know well firstly they don't really care whether it makes sense or not usually right they're just saying it because they can but um what these people generally don't know is that Jewish history is so well recorded and so widely recorded we have so much information we know exactly what happened consistently in every place in every community in every year throughout Jewish history we have a very very well-recorded history um and it's important as Jews that we
