so one of the things i really enjoy about getting on an airplane especially in the states is that you can reach into the seat pocket in front of you and pull out this amazing magazine called the in-flight buying guide they have the most amazing things in there a pair of monogrammed cufflinks for your a pair of monogrammed cufflinks for your pajamas a uh a uh a set of gps swimming goggles for swinging for swimming the english channel a nose tweezer for your pet poodle now there's something really amazing that i saw once which is this thing which has got a bit of sponge on the end and a long twirly metal handle and you you insert this into your ketchup bottle and you twirl it around and you can and you twirl it around and you can extract the last microgram of tomato ketchup from the bottle i've never seen a magazine so full of things that i didn't need and i thought to myself what is this thing teaching me what is this magazine teaching me it's teaching me you're in need you need this and you need that and you need this and you need that and you didn't even read you didn't realize you had these needs you know we live in a world where we have solutions to problems that we didn't even know we had the problem
