10 B'tevet. The Deeper Explanation. 3 Days Of Darkness

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Shay Tahan’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

there's three things that happened in horiztevet one day after another that were hard for Avis oil the very first thing happened on the 8th better vet next one is ninth and tenth eighth bit of it the Torah was translated to Greek as it says because of that that was a very bad thing because when you take the Torah and you translate it to other languages now what you're doing is really choking now what you're doing is really choking the Torah because up to now if you had words in the Torah that you could be me faresh to different understanding now you took that and you translated that into a different language and you can't explain it except in that way and therefore the result of that says that over here that there was darkness in the world for three days I mean we need to understand what Darkness has to do with the translation of of next thing that happened is British Apple we don't know what happened on the 9th of the vet says points out that in this court it's open that is also fail died so the question on the subhanahu that they asked how come we didn't know it's in this liquid on the next day after that is when you take a look at all these three things they have a common denominator
