Rambam Laws of Wives Chapter 4 Law 4 The Rabbi writes, "She said to him, 'Put it on the rock. It is not consecrated. And if her rock was consecrated, it was the rock of both of them. It is consecrated. It is doubtful. He said to her, 'I have consecrated it to you in the square.' She said to him, 'Give it to the poor, even if there was a poor woman near her. It is not consecrated.' And if her dog was her dog was consecrated. It is consecrated. And if he ran after her on a biting stick. And she said to him, ' Give it to the dog. It is doubtful.' Well, let's explain the cases that there are. First, what the Rabbi writes here, ' Put it on the rock.' What does it mean? A man says to a woman, ' Consecrate yourself to me with this ring or with these rings.' She said to him, 'Put it on the rock.' Put it on the said to him, 'Put it on the rock.' Put it on the rock. It is not consecrated. Why? Because I say, in other species, 'Go, go, put it there.' She rejects him with words. She did not accept it as hers.
