0:00 May Hashem, blessed be He, bless everyone, [unclear] Heavenly assistance, [unclear] you a good life. Just about the time: what we spoke about regarding seudah shlishis, the third Shabbos meal - it is possible to do it during bein hashmashos, twilight - seudah shlishis. There is no problem doing it during bein hashmashos - washing the hands, seudah shlishis. But know that according to Rabbeinu Tam, seudah... seudah shlishis before the Minchah prayer. According to Rabbi Ben Zion Abba Shaul, according to the Kabbalists, [unclear], our master the Arizal - one who did this has, as it were, not fulfilled the obligation.
0:30 But there is a Torah class, words of Torah that we, baruch Hashem, need to learn here together, so we need to act according to the view of Rabbeinu Tam - [unclear] - it is not terrible. The main thing is Torah study, which is equal to everything. People come here from far away, on foot, a long time. We have no possibility of doing it after, because not everyone manages; we prefer to learn at this time, so it is better to do it before. May everyone have a good year, amen, amen, amen, amen. We merited to be here like this, with everyone together, in joy.
0:56 Baruch Hashem. who are here with us, baruch Hashem - a great yasher koach to everyone for all the prayers, for all the joy, with Hashem's help. May the merit of all the holy tzaddikim protect us. The merit of the holy tzaddikim - salvations for everyone, many good blessings, there is good abundance, with Hashem's help. So come, [unclear] salvations - Rabbi [unclear], the tzaddik who has been with us for many years already, whoever knows - already 17 years together, baruch Hashem.
1:24 The merit of his holy, famous forefathers - the holy Chozeh, the Baal Shem Tov, Rabbi Nachman - [unclear] protect us. His forefathers, these famous holy ones - may their merit protect us - nothing but holy ones. and [unclear] the tzaddik, Rabbi [unclear]. May the Holy One, blessed be He, protect us, with Hashem's help; may we all have good tidings, [unclear], a good life, amen. Let us take upon ourselves, with Hashem's help, at this time, now - Now what remains for us is to make the reconciliation. We know that now are the Ten Days of Repentance, to be careful about teshuvah at these times, to rise up, to awaken in teshuvah, to bring the Jewish people close, to do teshuvah, to appease one's friend, to do teshuvah before Hashem, blessed be He.
2:01 Hashem, blessed be He, gave us a kindness and a free gift, that we are to keep Yom Kippur. The Holy One, blessed be He, forgives us for everything, and of course we also keep the meal - making the final meal before the fast on the eve of Yom Kippur, and eating on the eve of Yom Kippur. This of course counts for us, in practice, as it were, as if we fasted the ninth and the tenth; so the Sages learned in Tractate Yoma, on page 81, and so in practice it is also ruled in the Shulchan Aruch, siman 604, and so in practice we are accustomed to eat and drink a lot on the eve of Yom Kippur, for joy, for benefit - it is a very important thing.
2:37 After that we have the custom of kaparos, which we keep; of course - the Beis Yosef, in siman 604: its source is not brought in the words of the Sages, it is only in the words of the Geonim; it was a tradition in the time of the Geonim, that is how they practiced, to do kaparos. Today we give - in this amount one can give money, coins, to charity, and one can circle it over a person's head: 'This is my exchange, my substitute, my atonement,' and the coins go to charity, and a person can give charity per head, as he needs for the members of his household, for himself.

3:05 So this too has its foundation in the holy mountains, from the time of the Geonim; therefore it is also a very great thing to keep it, and that is how one should act. And the last important thing that remains for us is, of course, to appease one's friend. Everyone needs to appease his friend, to fulfill the receiving of Yom Kippur: teshuvah and good deeds. So the Sages learned in Tractate Yoma, page [unclear], and so in practice it is ruled in the Shulchan Aruch, siman [unclear], that we go to appease - each one goes to appease his friend, to ask his forgiveness. If, Heaven forbid, some harm was done to a person, someone died [unclear], then we take ten people and come to his grave, and ask forgiveness, pardon and atonement from that person. But the main thing is that there be forgiveness and pardon from every one of the Jewish people: to come before the people a person knows he sinned against,
3:52 hurt them, caused them pain in any way, to simply come to that person and ask him forgiveness, pardon and atonement: 'Forgive me, pardon me for what I sinned against you, for where I erred, for what I did not guard properly, if I hurt [unclear], spoke against you' - all kinds of such things that a person usually doesn't... With his worker, with his manager, with everyone, with the principal of the Talmud Torah, with the Rosh Kollel, each and every one with whoever he is with, to ask forgiveness. And if a person knows of someone explicitly that he did sin against him, of course he must go and do complete teshuvah.
4:28 Why? Because Yom Kippur is a very great power of mercy. And the moment a person merits to come clean, after he really has nothing in his heart against anyone, and no one has anything in his heart against him either, then the forgiveness will be much greater. Mercy will be aroused more from Heaven; he will have help and benefit and assistance from Heaven in the acceptance of his teshuvah. And so I recommend to everyone: this is the time to do teshuvah right away and to appease, so that no one has anything in his heart; so that you enter Yom Kippur clean, clean, with nothing in his heart against anyone.
4:57 Nothing in his heart against anyone, and nothing against him. He does complete teshuvah. And of course anyone who still [unclear] to forgive at the time of the bedtime Shema - this is praiseworthy - [unclear] the blessing from Heaven. But with Hashem's help, may we merit to draw these holy days upon ourselves, to take upon ourselves more Torah, more teshuvah to Hashem, blessed be He, to do teshuvah, to crown the holy King. Now, at these times, the Ten Days of Repentance - here, already next week, with Hashem's help, is Yom Kippur.
5:24 We pray here together; for all the prayers you are invited to come to us here on Yom Kippur. There is great joy, baruch Hashem - joy and awakening and teshuvah to Hashem. So here, with Hashem's help, we will keep Yom Kippur. The sukkah will be later on. With Hashem's help, [unclear] - they will update on the prayer times, with Hashem's help. And the main thing is to think [unclear], to learn about the greatness of Hashem, blessed be He, to know before Whom [unclear]. And baruch Hashem, to feel the light, as we merited to be here together on Rosh Hashanah, to pray facing the place of our Beis HaMikdash, the Holy Temple, and our glory, and may there be drawn upon us much abundance and wonderful illuminations and wonderful rectifications.
6:00 Everyone who has also arrived now, it is also as if he was with us on Rosh Hashanah. Why? Because [unclear] together. All the days of Rosh Hashanah with the Shabbos - that is also Rosh Hashanah. So baruch Hashem, everyone - all go up to Jerusalem. So may everyone have all the lights and all the abundance and all the [unclear], and may you have salvations, [unclear], a good life and much good, and with Hashem's help, Hashem, blessed be He, [unclear] everyone. The most important thing is that everyone hold themselves strong, strong, not to be broken by anything in the world, never to despair, Heaven forbid, to be full of hope, to start the new path, the new year with light, with hope, with victory, with good thoughts, with good hope, with salvation, and not to fear anything in the world.
6:43 May Hashem, blessed be He, give everyone Heavenly assistance; may you have a good inscription and sealing - you and all the members of your household and all that is yours; may you have a good life, good tidings, salvations. I was happy to be with you - great light and great joy; and may we accomplish all good before our Father in Heaven, and may we merit great mercy and salvations and all the good [unclear]. In visible and revealed good, out of joy and gladness of heart. [unclear] Israel, [unclear] Israel - be strong, strong, strong!
