i want to pose a question there are always a number of ways to attack a system and to evaluate it we can spend a lot of time discussing analyzing debating arguing axioms and postulates which sometimes has to be done but it's usually works in a less efficient fashion than granting certain possible hypotheses grant them for the sake of the discussion and then let's see how well the system works according to its own hypotheses most systems i would submit to you will fail they'll self-destruct along the way even given their assumptions but let's try it on for size and and see how well it fits i want to pose a question you may have some answers to it i think the question is a problem and then i'll suggest to you how from a torah perspective we would deal with this concern with this question mr a is committed is committed to a materialistic view of the world doesn't believe there's any soul there's any god there's any afterlife so there's nothing outside of what we experience that transcends the experience doesn't stand for anything more it doesn't signify anything it may be full of sound and fury as the fellow said but it doesn't signify fellow said but it doesn't signify anything yet we do find people very idealistically committed to living their lives and even giving up their lives for some kind of an ideology a system that they will agree is man-made it's a man-made system agree is man-made it's a man-made system because if there's nothing outside of you that has imposed and shared that with mankind then the only alternative is it's invented by man it's not discovered by man it's invented by man if it's invented by man then that's another way of saying that some people got together and created this system i always found it very problematic
