The more negativity, the lower is the IQ. There is a reason why most negative, pessimistic, cynical people have low IQ. Actually, the negative person is just louder about his limits. So, imagine if someone has high IQ and he is negative. Now he takes the negativity with his high IQ to build all kind of possibilities that's not even possible for a human to prevent till they become so anxious they have such a miserable life. Intelligence without optimism is a weapon pointed at yourself. That's what King Solomon says.
