The Magic of R' Eli Stefansky & His Daf Yomi Shiurim

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Eli Stefansky’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

Yossi Hirsch from Kensington. From Boynton Beach, Florida. This is Jeff Gordon. My name is Yossi Klein from Monsey, New York. My name is Dov Farkas from Australia. I'm Bernard David from the Manchester Daf Yomi Chabura. This is Ari Ben Shushan. My name is Hesky Rosenberg. I live in São Paulo, Brazil. Every single day, thousands of people across the world participate in Reb Eli Stefansky's daily Daf Yomi shiur. The impact that I have since I started listening to the shiur from Reb Eli, it gives me such a clarity, such a difference, it impacts me. Over 15,000 people watch Reb Eli on a daily basis, given from Merkaz Daf Yomi, a center dedicated to Daf Yomi that Reb Eli started in Ramat Beit Shemesh. Myself and four of my boys have finished Maseches Brochos and Shabbos. It is the highlight of our day. I love your shiur. I love Eli. I love the energy. I love being part of the Chabura. Not every shiur has a baal habus giving the shiur. Usually it's a rabbi with a big long beard, a chashuve guy, a very big learner. This shiur, simple baal habus like everybody else, wanting to learn, likes to learn, and just one of the guys. It's a geshmake shiur, it's a klore shiur, kein emud en esh veir.
