0:00 In the end, when the will of Hashem comes, with that it is settled. And what about all the segulos? Everything is by Divine Providence. Pay attention to the word segulah: segulah means 'capable' - it is capable of making this happen. But if a person behaves in a way that will hold back all the good things from him, or he has stolen property in his hands, and bad deeds and sins, and things that hold back his teshuvah and his tefillah from being accepted, then what will the segulos he does help? In the end, for a segulah to be accepted, the person must be worthy and fit, for this segulah to be accepted.

0:27 But even if a person is worthy, and you do the segulos - if it was decreed on him that he will not have it, then he will not have it. Beyond all the segulos and all the virtues and these things, there is the will of Hashem, blessed be He. When the Holy One, blessed be He, decides and wants in His wisdom that such and such will happen and such and such will be, such and such will happen and such and such will be, and nothing will help. Whether a person does this or that, or wherever he turns, what Hashem, blessed be He, wants is what will be done. And if the Holy One, blessed be He, wants - a person may act against his own salvation and make all the mistakes, and the Holy One, blessed be He, wants him to be rich: all this damage he did to himself and all the most terrible mistakes, he will be rich. And another person will come and do all the wisest and most precise things, and by nature everything says he is supposed to be rich - 'this one He lowers and that one He raises.' It is all the Holy One, blessed be He. Therefore one must appease and win over the Holy One, blessed be He.
