Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to the podcast on the Sikha. First of all, I want to say a big thank you this past week. We got a lot of uh feedback, messages uh from many of you. So, we know somebody's listening and uh you were certainly missed even though we appreciated uh the change and having Rabbi Darren uh join us, Asher Darren, a good friend from back in Yeshiva days. And also, I think more important than anything else is it's great to be back with your green door. For those who are not noticing, to me it's like my focus point. When I see the green door, I feel like I'm back at home. Uh but anyway, let's get focused. And we are today talking about and the is on Shabas, the great Shabas. I don't know how many I mean, we have some Shabbasim that we refer to as uh relating to the Torah portion, but other than that, Shabas is shabas. Shabas is a day of the week. I mean it's uh six days of the week you you work and on the seventh day you rest and shabas is shabas we have all kinds of holidays but um this is the one shabas which is called the great shabas the shabas before pesak of course so um has a lot to say has a questions about this but let's get a little context what's happening what's happening in the story of the Jewish people in in Egypt what is the the greatness what's the miracle what happened what's the story and what's uh what's what is there for us to learn from this especially as we approach Pesak or Sedar.
