hi everyone welcome to another edition of this Farm chatter podcast on this episode of the podcast I'm going to be joined by Dr Dove zackheim who is was was the under Secretary of Defense of the United States from 2001 to 2004 and the deputy under Secretary of Defense from 1985 to 1987 um and he also is the author of the book that we'll be discussing today is is pretty new The Prince and the Emperors The Life and Times of RAB Judah the prince rud anasi and he also wrote AE that's through mid and he also wrote AE that's through mid which is an imprint of Coran Publishers and a previous book called NE Statesman and Sage also from Magid so thank you Dr zakan for joining me thank you for having me n so let's start I'll tell the listeners a little bit about yourself and your background well uh as you've just heard I've spent actually spent most of my life in the world of Defense um I studied at Oxford at Columbia at the London School of Economics got my doctorate from Oxford while I was at doctorate from Oxford while I was at Oxford I actually studied for SM I got it Fromm valkin who was a well-known Goen um and uh basically I've pursued life in both directions uh these this is actually the fourth book I've written two are about my times in the Pentagon then I wrote about neia and uh and now about uh rebi uh my father is my late father's zal was the author of tvia son hedin which is used in a lot of the aivas he also had a what he call what's
