Happy Kaneka to everyone. We're starting Kaneka tonight. I'd like to in a moment talk about Kaneka and about the para. But before I do, um we woke up this morning to some terrible news, um from Australia. There was an attack there. I guess some of you have not yet seen the news. Um and so, um I just want to respond. Unfortunately, um we're living in a time of growing um anti-semitism and anti-Jewish violence. Um I think and anti-Jewish violence. Um I think it's been increasingly growing in recent years. There's no denial of that. Um and it's something that we have to be aware of. Um we have to ask our um fellow non-Jews to stand up, take a side um because sitting back and doing nothing is not an answer. Uh but for ourselves, for us um we also need to be certain that we don't um stand down because the worst thing that we can do as Jews is um worst thing that we can do as Jews is um to hide, to disappear. That's what they would like us to do. They would like us to disappear. They would like us to hide. Um and then they'll continue trying to find us. Um, so our solution is to stand up for ourselves, stand strong, stand proud, and then demand that our non-Jewish neighbors and friends all stand with us. Um, so for that reason, um, on the at the same time, we do have to be very careful about security. It's very unfortunate
