on september 11 2001. wow yeah i was in philly yeshiva in 11th grade and i was actually just having dinner last night with a group of people um shout out to frank carrie shelby and cody and zach those are real names and we were having this exact conversation yeah everyone was just sharing like where they were and what their experience was that day it's one of those it's one of those moments in history of you know you know where you were i was in first grade or my post-class in yeshiva torah wow my parents happened to have come to school and take me out because it seemed like the world was falling apart at that time yeah it really did it was it was such a scary time it's such a scary day no one knew what was happening no one knew the extent yeah the attacks yeah because besides what took place in manhattan you had the pentagon that was hit and you had um a plane that went down in pennsylvania and it was just yeah it was a lot of chaos and in this episode we we spoke to arie schonbrunn who found himself on the 78th floor of the twin towers when one of the planes hit so you're going to hear in the story of his story of survival how it changed his life and sort of through his eyes what took place on september 11 2001 yeah and just just to frame the the magnitude of the unique perspective that ari has incredibly is there were 662 employees of cantor fitzgerald that day
