let share the screen again okay so um start we'll Jump Right In chapter one cabba and prophecy so there's a very important uh principle to know about Rabbi har Kaplan that's Rabbi Kaplan was very big into meditation As We Know he linked meditation to n as we know and he linked meditation to n as we know and uh this is something which is interesting that he has in comment even though I don't think he ever ever quotes the pner but the pner and his other for even more so uh also links the concept of meditation and n and uh tries to teach you how to accomplish some form of tapping into uh a Transcendent reality now that doesn't work for everybody and let me doesn't work for everybody and let me tell you myself that uh although perhaps there's just uh laziness on my part but I always thought about myself because I have this uh add um mind that it's very difficult for me to meditate it's impossible for me to be hypnotized uh basically I've tried it but it doesn't work for me but so of course cabala can be used as has a stepping stone for prophecy and certainly uh the M will tell you that prophecy is a cabalistic tell you that prophecy is a cabalistic experience but it's not necessarily the only reason to learn cabala H the the reason to understand to learn cabala is to understand how the world works and how uh the system is constructed whether you use it to accomplish prophecy or not so although Rabbi capap links the two very very powerfully it's not necessarily required to be learned way so the um the the idea of kabon Prophecy can be linked but they also can be deled
