shalom let us say a few words about parashat mini which is the parasha of the coming shabbat this coming shabbat has great importance also it is the shabbat in which we usher in with the benedictions of course the coming of the month of nisan and we will learn also today the great importance of the first day of the month of nisan which is rosh hades nissan which is known by our sages that it is the the first day of the year for the kings rosh hashanah even though the real beginning of the year is tishrei which is rosh hashanah nevertheless in the hebrew calendar we know that nissan is in reality the beginning of the year for the jewish calendar the parashat is israel the eighth day of the inauguration of the mishkan the tabernacle of course at the time when the jewish people were still in the wilderness and they built the mishkan in which the divine presence was supposed to bring in its great glory even in the eyes of all the people of israel but we are after the great sin the great very grave sin of the jewish people of the golden calf for which the moshe our master moses has obtained the pardon for the jewish people the problem is that aharon his brother since he is known as a giant of the jewish people then he's not only the brother of moses but he was also the prophet of the jewish people so aharona kohen he was nominated as the cohen of the jewish people he meant all his
