so good morning so firstly this week's par is called shamini which means the eighth because last week we spoke about the inauguration of the temple there was a s-day process in which essentially they did practice for seven days or they did they offered sacrifice for seven days in lead to the first official day of service the eighth day is in the first official day of service in the temple the new Temple that they had just built they erect this Temple they um Aaron now offers various sacrifices in Aaron now offers various sacrifices in inaugural sacrifices for the um for the temple and God um shows that he has accepted their sacrifices and has accepted their and his presence will dwell in the temple firstly they don't light the fire initially for to burn the sacrifices on the altar rather the um they put the sacrifice on the Altar and on top of a wood pile and the altar bursts into flames and that is a sign that God is accepting their sacrifices and then they accepting their sacrifices and then they also have um and then they they also um The Cloud of Glory that God had kind of LED them through the desert now rests on top of the mishkan on top of the the temple so in this great excitement to um offer s to um inaugurate the temple two of our own Sons not both bring unauthorized incense into the temple when they be they burn incense on fire
