Lloyd Hoffman's birthday. Happy birthday. And by Colin Stein and his children in memory of his beloved wife, Feiga bas Mosha, whom we miss. May her neshama should have an aliyah. We miss her in our community. Anonymously for the full shalom of Yitzchak Menachem ben Karen ben Yosef, who should have a full, complete, and speedy refuah shleimah. I also want to dedicate our learning. Today is Yom HaZikaron, and there are so many who gave their lives. We don't have to offer We don't have to wish that their neshama has an aliyah because it can't go any higher because those who died al kiddush Hashem, those who gave their lives fighting for and defending the Jewish people and the Jewish homeland, their soul sits right next to the Kisei HaKavod, next to the divine throne. And so, while their neshama can't and doesn't need to go any higher, certainly we dedicate our learning in their memory with endless and boundless gratitude for their sacrifice, and with their family very much in our hearts and on our minds today, Yom HaZikaron. The parshas we're reading are called Acharei Mot Kedoshim. After the death, Kedoshim. And those more than 25,000 who over the course of Israel's modern history gave their lives fighting and defending too many over the last 3 years in the war that is not yet over. I reached out today. We've hosted so many in our shul in our community and on our podcast conversation with parents, wives, family members of those who lost loved ones. Our learning is dedicated to them and we join Klal Yisrael. We join Klal Yisrael around the world and today feeling and thinking about their loss, their memory, and their family sending a lot of love, strength, and comfort. Page
