0:00 Seek Hashem, blessed be He, not the tzaddik. Seek Hashem and want Hashem, and you will reach the right place. What a person needs to seek in this world is the redemption, closeness to Hashem. Every time they seek all the things around, it is "and she grabbed him by his garment." Like with Joseph and Potiphar's wife, they wanted to seek all the things around. They wanted to seek the Messianic, these things, the tzaddik. That is not the point.

0:24 It does not matter who is Mashiach, when Mashiach will come. What matters to us is who Hashem, blessed be He, is. Even the request for Mashiach and redemption that we say, we are not seeking that some king should come to us again and rule over us. The whole request is really that we finally see Hashem as King, and not the other kings. Therefore: "Behold your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, poor and riding on a donkey." All these concepts are concepts, to tell a person that the redemption will come specifically from simple things.

0:49 "And I will desire praise from lumps of dust, from creatures fashioned of clay," the piyyut we say on Rosh Hashanah, we want the Holy One, blessed be He, as King. All the searching after the tzaddik and after Mashiach and after this, it is already "and she grabbed him by his garment," it is already all the searching around. One must seek Hashem, blessed be He, seek the Holy One, blessed be He, at sunrise, seek the Holy One, blessed be He, at Mincha and Maariv, pray the prayer on time, learn Torah, lift your eyes to heaven, pray. The very fact that you will always have your gaze upward and seek Hashem, then Hashem will lead you, arrange for you, seek, send you to this Rebbe, this tzaddik.
