Hi everyone, welcome to another edition of this farm chatter podcast and the first episode in a new series here on farm chatter about the early American rabinet and this uh episode I'm going to be joined once again by professor Jonathan Sarna who is university professor Joseph H and Bell Raw professor of American Jewish history at Brandis University the chief historian at the Whitesman National Museum of American Jewish history and a number of American Jewish history and a number of other things as well as uh the author of numerous titles were books, articles, and many other things pertaining to uh American Jewish history. And this first episode we'll be discussing, I guess, a little background information that was important in the beginning, but really the focus will be on the Reverend Gisham Satishius or Rabbi in air quotes, if you will, and we we're going to get into that.
