this week's parashah, Atem nitzavim hayom kulchem. So someone suggested, someone sent me a message last night who was here. What about when Yosef Hatzadik was alone on that fateful night with Aishes Potiphar, the pasuk says vayehi kehayom hazeh. Was it Rosh Hashanah? Actually, the Midrash says it was Shabbat. So I was thinking it had to be Rosh Hashanah. Why? Hashanah. Why? Who remembers? When did Yosef get out of jail? Yosef got out of jail on Rosh Hashanah. So maybe he went into jail on that day, also on Rosh Hashanah. I wasn't sure, maybe. I looked around, there is no Midrash that says it was Rosh Hashanah. But I found in the writings of Reb Kluger that there's a concept that Hakadosh Baruchu fulfills the years of tzadikim miyom leyom umishanah leshanah. Tzadikim are usually they pass away on the day they're born. they pass away on the day they're born. Says Reb Kluger, the same way tzadikim pass on the day they're born, so too whatever happens to tzadikim is precise. So for example, the Midrash says we left Egypt on Pesach, Yaakov Avinu came down to Mitzrayim on Pesach. Everything in the life of tzadikim is exact, it's precise. Says Reb Kluger, if Yosef left jail on Rosh Hashanah, he must have gone to jail on Rosh Hashanah. So, it must be the day he encountered Asiya's Potipharah
