Okay, good morning everybody. Say We're learning perek ches of Sefer Ezra. And even though Pesach is approaching and I must admit I had a real itch to learn in Yanei Pesach but nevertheless I figured we're at the end of the perek so let's just finish up the perek. Actually, we only have one pasuk left to the perek. So I figured we'll do finish up the perek and then we'll do Yanei Pesach. But then I realized that this last pasuk here is a real whopper. And uh either we could read it and just go through it, you know, brush it off or if you want to understand it, you have to learn a whole amud of Gemara. So I chose the latter and it's really an excellent example of how if you don't learn the Gemara, you really don't understand what the Navi's talking about. So let's uh we're talking about Ezra's return. And during Ezra's return now they're uh the Beit Hamikdash is already running but now they're Ezra returns and they're bringing korbanos. Look in pasuk uh ches lamed hey. Haboyim me hashvi perek ches pasuk lamed hey. Haboyim me hashvi those who came back from captivity bnei hagolah the sons of golus hikrivu olos they offered olah olah we know is a complete offering, an elevated offering. Laila K Yisrael, parim shnay asar. 12 bulls al kol Yisrael, for all the Jews. Ailim ram tisha v'shisha. 96. Now, 96 is an interesting number. 96 is divided by what? By eight and by 12, right? 12 * 8 24. Also by 24.
