Shortcuts and more

What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

Good evening everyone. We are few days before tisha behav the day of the destruction of our temple that left us almost 2,000 years without the house of Hashem. The Torah say that Hashem told us to make him mish. Mishkan comes from the word means to leave to stay in one place. Mishkan to hold the ofdash not very interesting it doesn't say make me a house that I will be in that house. It say make me a house that will be in everyone's heart. When the beta mikdash is here, then the connection of the Jews to Hashem is in a much higher level. Now there's no bet mikdash. The connection to Hashem is a in a much much lower level. I spoke yesterday in my Hebrew lecture in five towns about a very common problems that we have today that it's people who looking to connect to Hashem but without any efforts. It's what we call shortcuts. It's shortcuts. Everyone is an expert in shortcuts in life, in business, in school. Some people go to school. There's all kinds of scams in in school. He doesn't even show up. He pays someone. He goes with a fake ID and he makes the test for him. That's called a shortcut. Or he buy a degree by paying $20,000 to some somebody who works in the university and issue a degree for him. There's all kinds of fake degrees in Europe. There are doctors in Israel
