Okay, so last week we spoke about why in the Torah itself it does not say that Shavuot is the time which the Torah is given. It says that the Torah was is the says it's Yom HaBikurim. It's day of the first fruits, but it doesn't say that the Torah is given even though when we pray on Shavuot we stress that it's the day in which the Torah is given, Zman Matan Torah the day of the giving of the Torah. Um By the way, I should say I might I might have to interrupt in the middle for a minute or two, but just for a minute or two and then I'll get right minute or two and then I'll get right back. Um somebody's supposed to come to the door. But if it should be only be a second if that happens. But so going on, this Matan Torah is mentioned in by us, but it's not mentioned in the Torah itself. So it's a beautiful idea which I saw. It happens to be in a book written by um this person who's on the wall behind me, the smaller picture. His name is Rabbi Avraham Eliyahu Kaplan, who happens to be one of my heroes. This person he died he was a person who lived in the early 20th century. He died very young.
