What’s said in this shiur

The opening of this shiur, in Rabbi Asher Weiss’s own words — taken from the captions, so names and Hebrew terms may be approximate.

[Music] it said of shabbos once again not only yet of shabbos but and this yantev is a very special one because it's mana sim jose no each of the character golem has a unique definition circus has more simran than any other yantef so on one hand we are approaching the greatest symbol of all the year but our is somewhat dampened diminished shouldn't be but it is because we are still in the midst of this this horrible pandemic and to our sorrow and dismay things ain't getting better yet we're having thousands of new cases every day in here we have more seriously ill than we ever had since the beginning of this pandemic and people are dying this week a terrible tragedy struck a moshav neratza a father a moshav neratza a father and two of his sons passed away in the same week they weren't old they weren't sick the father was 78. one son was 58 and the other was 52. so if anybody tells you it's the flu it's not the flu i don't recall a father and two of her sons dying in the same week from the flu week from the flu this is a terrible disease most of those that get sick will come out of it relatively without long-term effects but many won't i know people that are suffering for months some of them will suffer the rest of their lives but what is more painful is all those people that passed away and those families that that passed away and those families that will never ever be the same so yes our is somewhat diminished and he once again beg and plea to all of you take care do everything we can to prevent the spread of disease what is required what's asked from us is that too difficult to wear a mask
