Do not be a gossip-monger. There's a prohibition to go around. But what's a rochel? A rochel is someone who's a roichel, someone who goes around selling their wares. So a gossip-monger, instead of them going around and selling, you know, Gucci and Louis, whatever, they go around and like, "I've got juicy stuff to sell you. You want to hear it?" This guy is the address for the juice. Okay? So that was called to go around and gossip-monger was called loi seichel kurtzen. That people would go around trying to sell their gossip. But what does that have to do with eating? What it has to do with eating is that when somebody would then receive this this agreement like, "Yeah, I want the I want the gossip. Give me the gossip. Give me the juice." So they would come into the house of the person like, "I'm selling you some wares. You want this stuff?" They would come into the guy's house. And they would have food to eat. And there was a special like dish that they would eat called a kurtza that was like the symbolic end of the deal. Like I'm coming in to give you the stuff and then as we eat this dish, that was like the loshon hara has now been integrated into us. They did things in like very official ways back then. Like you want some juice on this guy? Please sit down. Please sit me serve you some kurtzen. Ah, of course. And kurtzen also is the language of like to hint, to like wink.
