tonight we're going to talk about a very very special torade volunteer um who was nift a short time ago very very person by the name of raitz I I'm going to start I'll tell you a little bit about him first then we'll get into it a little bit Raa was a very very busy person um he was he was constantly learning he was aile of a very prestigious Yesa here in Lakewood uh he was a RV of a Lakewood uh he was a RV of a um he spoke many places uh his advice was sort after everywhere but yet with all this with all the business that he was involved with about 10 years ago he called me and he said he he said to me R I want I want very much to volunteer I want to be involved in perides and that started our 10 year long connection with Raa um he learned with all levels of of people from the most advanced to the most basic uh he taught people how to read Hebrew he taught elas nothing was read Hebrew he taught elas nothing was beneath him uh and you know what everything he did was always with a smile I remember uh after a particular tough procedure he had maybe like five years ago uh he called up and he and he asked me he said what could I do in that same cheerful voice that he always talked with what could I do to help the cause um he didn't just learn with people when he got involved with somebody he became their friend and he read them um he got involved with the children um he did as much as he could
