so good morning let me start with the paraa for this week um this week is par I think of as Paras go this is the most difficult one to pronounce it means when you L Kindle when you light the candles referring to airon lighting the candles it is a third partial of the fourth book of the Torah the book of B midbar the book of numbers um and so it begins with God speaking to Moses telling him when Aaron lights the candles he should of the monora in the temple he should make sure that the temple he should make sure that the Wicks all face the center um and um then it says um that they made the manora exactly as they were commanded that it goes back to the last week's par show where we spoke about the separating the Levites and so we continue along that theme they separated Levites all the Levites had to shave they had to bring certain sa shave their entire bodies be sprinkled with special um purifying Waters that came from spring water mixed with ashes of the parad the red Hyer with ashes of the parad the red Hyer that we'll talk about in a couple weeks um and then they had to um then they were lifted up by Aaron they had to shave their whole bodies and this is all part of their preparation to be um uh to to be dedicated as um to serve God in the temple then God tells Moses um and this is again going back to the beginning of the second year after they left Egypt that they should make for themselves a that they should make a Passover sacrifice um it would soon be
