hello there hope you're enjoying your summer beautiful beautiful weather out now what if they're like listening to this in like 2048 and it's the winter hope you're enjoying your winter yeah you know winter's also good and it's time we sat down with an incredible guest this week dr shauna freidman the executive director of shalom task force for those who don't know what shaolin task force is it's a bronco if you don't know what it is you don't want to know what they are and but we think it's very important to educate peop more people to know what it is you could be you've seen like their ads that the whole purple campaign but essentially they are i'm probably butchering what it is but they're a hotline that people call when they are getting abused both uh whether it's it's physical abuse mental abuse spiritual abuse there's so many things that we don't live in so many times and and i i believe it's it's more than just a hotline it's an entire organization that is filled with therapists psychologists doctors that are there to help people who are in these awful situations and the term abuse is something that is very i think broadly defined and yeah and some task force does an incredible job within the community but abroad and dr shawna fryman is behind all of that i i myself got a lot of education from this specific episode obviously there's the classics you know stories that we all hear but i think it's more those events that are more subtle whether it's in a marriage or it's in a workplace that i don't think before this
