We are in Parashat Beshalach. Baruch Hashem, we left Mitzrayim yesterday. At least on paper we did. We left Mitzrayim, we left Egypt after a whole orchestra, after a whole a big event of all the plagues and the miracles and everything that's happening and then finally we got out of the Mitzrayim. And we find the first big argument in history. And this argument went down in history for many many many generations. What is this argument? The story is that the last three parashot, we went to Mitzrayim before that, if you remember the story with Yakov. After a while a new king comes up puts the the sons of Yakov, Bnei Israel, in slavery. They become slaves for 210 years. Severe slavery in 86 years. Finally the redeemer comes, Moshe Rabbeinu comes and he does a lot of miracles and gets them finally out of Mitzrayim. Two parashot we spent about talking about all the miracles, about all the the the plagues. And now finally we got out of the Mitzrayim and we start the parasha by saying that Hashem took us out of Mitzrayim. And amazingly, and we'll find out why, instead of going north into the to towards the Sinai to get the Torah, we go south. And we go south for 3 days in the desert through a land that is called the land of Peleshet. And I mean the one of the reasons Hashem did that because he was afraid that if we go directly into Sinai, right away we're going to see that there's a going to approach a war. So he says, "Okay, let me take them around so they're not going to realize right away there's going to be a war." But nevertheless, we'll talk about later why specifically they went south and not north. But after 3 days,
