And uh this shiur is dedicated, as always, praying for the protection of Am Yisrael, the unity of Am Yisrael, and which will lead to ultimate victory. And uh we pray for all of those whose And uh we pray for all of those whose health has been affected by terror and the war. Refuah shleimah for Leah Shoshana bas Yerasela Yerasela or Yisraela? Again, may all the derech tov be le-iluy nishmato. >> Amen. >> Um so uh it's very interesting that the parsha of that's coming up this week parsha of that's coming up this week uh does contain the mitzvah that we're involved in and that is the actual mitzvah of counting of the omer. The mitzvah of sefirat omer is in parshas Emor. Uh let me just mention uh some introductory points that um the obvious purpose of counting of the omer is stated by the Sefer HaChinuch. And that is Pesach is the holiday of freedom and Shavuot is the holiday of Torah.
