okay so the um i want to touch on uh an area tonight that's a little more subtle uh and we're gonna do a couple of uh of uh you know references to jewish law specifically and to the nuances of the sources so we'll start out with the case what if someone sold somebody else let's say it was it applies jew or non-jew non-jew what if it a jewish person sold even a non-jewish person doesn't make a difference what if he sold him something and represented it as kosher meat and it turned out that it's unkosher meat now let's start with the top level he represented something as kosher which generally speaking is more expensive the person thought he was buying kosher the person thought he was buying kosher but he was buying unkosher so what's the story with that what do you say i think he i mean he'd get a sin for for lying but not for making him eat non-kosher it's not okay he's not getting good he's not gonna eat it he's gonna resell it yeah only three sellers here good so you have one guy represented something as kosher represented something as kosher another guy thought he was buying kosher paid for kosher but it was unkosher which is less expensive okay it's like it's like what you said it doesn't really matter that he's not it doesn't that it's just the fact that he lied it's just not good for his soul so a you have theft because he overpaid for the product right b you have misrepresentation good okay represented something is kosher it's

  5. 24:41didn't and um there was nothing to it but even with that being the case our
  6. 30:54it might bring some credibility to you right if you're forcing someone to do something to
  7. 37:02which we i think we briefly mentioned last week which is i have to think about
  8. 43:11to say i know he's not coming i mean how do you know that they're not
  9. 49:24expanding the honesty we talked about between me and another person talked about between me and
  10. 55:32and her think that i want to give it something so i only do that once
