The book of Judges uncensored episode five. Yesterday we started talking about Gdon who is the fifth judge and we saw his military victory with a small army of 300 people over the Midionites. And at the end of the at the end of the battle, so he sent a message to Ephraim. And Aph the tribe of Ephraim was able to capture the two Midianite generals, Z and Or and Z, and they killed them. And then Ephraim sent a killed them. And then Ephraim sent a message to Gdon saying that they're a little bit insulted that Gdon didn't ask them to participate in the battle from the beginning. And then Gdon sort of diffused the situation with his diplomatic skills and he says, "No, no, no. what you guys did at the end, you know, that really meant our victory. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have been able to win. So that sort of abaded the Ephamites anger and mllified them in a way. Now the next story is another battle that Gdon is involved in wherein battle that Gdon is involved in wherein Peress in the in Sephim. The next battle is basically Gdon had previously defeated the two generals of Midyan the Surim and now he wants to defeat the two kings of Midian. And the names of the kings are Zavak and Saluna. Zavak means uh sacrifice and Saluna means the shade has been withheld. So it's like interesting names that they have ze and sala huh like sal like s is like shadow or shade and muna
