So, good morning. This week's para is called para nasau. It is the longest para of the Torah, of the 54 paras of the Torah. Now, there are some weeks we do a double. This week we're not doing a double, so it's not as long as some of the doubles, but as a single para, it's the longest para. It begins by Hashem telling Moshe some more instructions regarding the Levites. Um, last week at the end of the par, we spoke about the roles of the family of Kahhat, one of the three Levite families in uh dismantling and carrying and erecting dismantling and carrying and erecting the Mishkan. Kahhat was in charge of all of the um utensils, all of the furniture in the Mishkan. Um, and now Moshe tell Hashem tells Moshe about the family of Gashon. They're going to be in charge of all the drapings, all the various um all the various um fabrics that were used mostly for the roofs of the Mishkan as well as for some walls. Um they would be in charge of dismantling and carrying and erecting that. And then the third family, Marari, would be in charge of dismantling and would be in charge of dismantling and erecting the actual walls which were made of um silver, copper, and wood. Um and they would be in charge of dismantling, carrying and erecting those. Um the Torah continues to tell us um the laws of um the three camps tells us that there are essentially three camps. Um the um there's going to be the temple itself, the Levites around the temple and then all of Israel around it
