So good to see everyone. Good morning. So let's begin with the para very briefly and then we will get straight to Pes and then we will get to our topic for today which is the mystical the mystical meaning of the seder plate. So starting with the para this week is para sav. Sav means command. Hashem tells Moshe to command Aaron that um every that the altar must always burn the sorry there must always be a fire the sorry there must always be a fire burning on the altar in the temple. Every day the cohen must go and take out every morning a cohen must go and clean up the altar from all the ashes that had burned on the previous day. And that is a mitzvah. And it teaches us the importance of not just doing things but cleaning up after yourself too. Um and then it continues to go through various laws of sacrifices continuation from last week. Um that is the first half of the para covers various sacrifices and then the second half of the para uh covers the the second half of the para covers the the second half of the para speaks about the inauguration of the mishkun. Um in order to inaugurate the Mishkan they had seven days practice run where Moshe did the service and kind of Aaron followed along but Moshe was leading the service for seven days of practice and then the following para we will open with the eighth day which was the first day of the official service. The para is called Shmini 8. Um and that's not we're not going to read it the following week. It's going to be Passover. Instead we will read it in two
