A while back I've been talking about um the relationship between the Jewish people, Israel, and the umas oilam, the nations of the world. I've given a couple of shiurim on that, and I just want to uh in this year continue because really it's a really a very important concept. Um especially within the context Um especially within the context of a divine plan. How do we understand that mankind basically consists of two different divisions? Division one is the Jewish people, and this is based on the Torah. Division one is the Jewish people, uh and we know what God says about the Jewish people, that they are His nation, and and um uh God is of course very close to the Jews and so on. And we know also the second uh division is the is the the nations of the world. So really what you have is just two different types of humans in that sense. So the question of course I had dealt with is uh how do we explain that? And that's what really I'm getting into. Also, what is the purpose? What is the end of the concept of the nations of the world and and so on? Um As we will see, which is interesting, is that the concept of nations, is that the concept of nations, individual nations, only exists in this world. In the future world, oilam haba, there will be no other nation but Israel. The concept of nations does not exist in the future world. In the future world, it is like I said, only Israel. They will be the only nation in the future world. But there will be individuals of other nations in the future world. Uh so we're not looking here at, you know, Israel and and Americans and all that.
