Okay, good morning everyone. We're continuing Mishnah Berurah Dafa Shavua. We're learning Siman Kuf Samech Zayin Seif Vav. Yochal Miyad. You should eat immediately. Now, that's not just in a vacuum. Immediately after you wash. Um we had the recommended zman of the imsha k'dei hiluch chof beis amah mikri hefsek. Remember that in Siman Kuf Samech Vav? Some say you don't need to be careful from being masiach between netilah and hamotzi. Some say you do need to be careful. But if you delayed k'dei hiluch chof beis amah, the Ramah said it's a hefsek. Which then means when the Mechaber says Yochal Miyad, he was serious. Uh-oh. But no, I'm sorry. This is talking about between the bracha of hamotzi and eating. You see, it doesn't say what the Yochal Miyad is. Here the Mishnah Berurah says Yochal Miyad d'chachila asur l'hafsiq b'shtikah yoser mikdei dibur. L'chachila, you're not even allowed to delay in silence more than k'dei dibur, the amount of time it takes to say shalom aleichem Rebbi Meir. Mhm. Therefore, the m'varech should make the bracha should eat immediately even before he distributes the challah to others. Um for this reason, if a food is particularly hot or cold, you should not make the bracha until you're able to eat it right away. However, b'dieved, if you are shasha harbei yoser mikdei dibur, as long as you're not masiach daas, you don't have to go back.
