here we go all right welcome back we are still in the middle of chapter one let's just review a little bit where we came from it's called the breadcrumb trail so we know we don't get lost so remember the whole trajectory of things um to me that's the main thing about tanya especially the first few hundred times you learn it it's about the structure and about knowing the path the trajectory how we get to our goal uh and then as you learn tanya over and over and over again for the rest of your life you can always delve back into the details but it's important to understand the overall structure uh at least to begin with so we were structuring this based on the the reber shahab statement that anyone who learns tanya is having eugenics with the altered but we were structuring this as like we're imagining different personal audiences with the altarebin and we come into the first personal audience with the altarebe and we know that we're asking for help we're asking for guidance in our spiritual service of what nature well more specifically that we're sort of frustrated with our own inconsistencies and we're wondering what to do about that so the first thing that al-taraba does is he he validates he validates us he says it's a really legitimate struggle look um what are you you know you can't even figure out what you are because there's this weird uh statement of our sages i'm just reviewing chapter one right now
