this is an open question and answer period that we may after show us maybe switch a format but uh as i always say every week you can ask me absolutely anything i don't promise i can answer anything that's for sure not but there's nothing to be embarrassed about whatever you want to talk about this is perfectly uh perfectly fine so with any uh so i throw the floor open so let me talk a little bit about about this generally you know the parsha that we're reading this week is actually the longest partial in the torah it has many many different things in it but part of why it's so long is that the last part of the parsha talks about the sacrifices that were brought on the days that the michigan was dedicated the michigan was dedicated on rosh chodesh nissan and starting for that first day for the next 12 days the heads of each tribe brought a sacrifice or brought a bunch of sacrifices in honor of the dedication of the tabernacle that is called chanukah mishkan hanukkah the dedication of the mishkan now the problem is the the 12 tribes each brought an identical offering a whole bunch of things so the torah normally doesn't waste words the tour could have told me what the first nussey brought and then it could have just said and everybody else brought the same thing and yet the torah repeats a to z 12 times he brought a to z he brought a to z he brought a to z
